4. How would you handle a request for confidential employee information from outside the company?

8. How would you assist an attorney in preparing for a deposition or trial related to an employment dispute?
Describe document organization, witness preparation support, timeline creation, and evidence management experience.
9. Describe your experience with employment litigation or investigations, including discrimination, harassment, or wrongful termination claims.
Show understanding of claim investigation procedures, evidence preservation, interview coordination, and compliance documentation.
10. Walk me through how you would ensure compliance with employment laws when assisting with a reduction in force or termination process.
Address severance documentation, WARN Act compliance, unemployment considerations, COBRA, and state-specific termination requirements.
11. How do you approach managing opposing counsel communications and discovery requests while maintaining professional relationships?
Demonstrate knowledge of discovery rules, timely response protocols, privilege log preparation, and tactful communication.
12. Describe your experience managing litigation holds and ensuring proper retention of electronically stored information (ESI) in HR matters.
