Show problem-solving, persistence, ability to identify barriers, motivational strategies, and knowing when to refer.
7. How do you stay current with evidence-based practice and emerging research in physiotherapy?
Reference journals, professional organizations, CPD courses, conferences, and translation of evidence into practice.
8. Describe your experience working in a multidisciplinary team with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
Highlight communication skills, collaborative goal-setting, respect for other roles, and patient-centered outcomes.
9. How do you manage your time and caseload to ensure quality patient care while meeting productivity targets?
Discuss scheduling, documentation efficiency, prioritization, work-life balance, and never compromising quality for speed.
10. Walk me through how you would manage a patient presenting with non-mechanical pain or psychosocial factors affecting recovery.
Show understanding of biopsychosocial model, screening for red flags, empathy, appropriate referral, and pain education.
11. Describe a time when your treatment approach wasn't working. How did you adapt and what did you learn?
Demonstrate reflective practice, openness to changing strategy, critical thinking, and use of patient feedback.
12. How would you handle a patient safety incident or a colleague's concerning practice?
