1. What experience do you have with SAP systems, and which modules have you worked with most closely?

2. Tell me about a time you had to learn a new SAP module or technology quickly. How did you approach it?
Show resourcefulness, self-directed learning, documentation review, and ability to apply knowledge under time pressure.
3. Describe your experience with SAP implementation projects. What was your role and what were the key challenges?
Discuss project phases (discovery, design, build, test, deploy), stakeholder management, timeline pressures, and solutions you implemented.
4. How do you approach gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders?
Emphasize active listening, asking clarifying questions, creating traceability matrices, and validating requirements with stakeholders.
5. What configuration and customization experience do you have in SAP? When would you recommend one over the other?
Explain configuration best practices, when custom code is necessary, impact on maintenance/upgrades, and design patterns you've used.
6. Tell me about your experience with ABAP programming. What types of developments have you completed?
Discuss specific objects (FM, reports, interfaces, enhancements), coding standards, debugging, performance optimization, and testing approaches.
7. How have you handled system integration challenges, particularly with third-party systems or legacy platforms?
Mention middleware/APIs used, data mapping strategies, error handling, testing, and how you ensured data integrity.
8. Describe your experience with SAP testing methodologies and how you've ensured quality in your projects.
Cover unit testing, integration testing, UAT coordination, test case creation, defect management, and regression testing strategies.
9. How do you approach performance tuning and optimization in SAP environments?
Discuss SQL analysis, dialog step monitoring, memory issues, transaction analysis, RFC calls, and tools/techniques you've used.
10. Tell me about a complex business process you redesigned or optimized in SAP. What was the outcome?
